letter - multifandom tropefest 2018

Dear Author,

Hello and thank you in advance! I'm looking forward to reading your story and hope you have loads of fun writing it. This letter is meant for your inspiration. There's some general information and then fandom/pairing specific. Also, any trope I have requested for one fandom/pairing I am fine with being used for another fandom/pairing except for "Gender or Sex Swap - Always the Opposite Gender Alternate Reality (Requested Characters Only)" which I requested for Hannibal.

Not my cup of tea, but also not hard DNW: mundane AU (setting wise—for example, I don’t mind ‘Harry Potter coffee shop AU’ in which the coffee shop is for witches and wizards), pretend couple, or pure fluff.

Kinks I enjoy if you are interested in writing smut (if not that’s great too): bruising, biting, ‘I can’t believe we’re alive’ sex, praise, sloppy sex, oral fixation, oral sex, public and semi-public sex, PDA, slow/prolonged, discomfort during sex, marking, possessiveness, accidental stimulation

DNW: trauma to eyes, humiliation, nonconsensual body modification, loss of limb(s). **For only The 100 - Clarke Griffin/Lexa: major character death.

The 100 - Clarke Griffin/Lexa
Tropes requested: Marriage of Convenience - Political Alliance, Arranged Marriage - to stop war, Crosscultural Relationship, Enemies to Lovers, For Want of a Nail, Living Legend, Politics - Political Machinations, Friends to Enemies to Lovers - Pining Obliviously the Whole Time, Reunion - Characters meet years after betrayal, Betrayal - Betraying Someone To Save Them, Arranged Marriage - mutual pining between spouses, Good Is Not Soft, Rivals to Lovers, Soulmarks - Played Straight, Secret Relationship, Politics - Political Antagonists with Personal Relationship, Courting Rituals, Captivity - Prisoner of War, Exploring a World, Self-Sacrifice - sacrificing for the greater good, Belligerent Sexual Tension, Identity Porn - Identity Reveal, Unreliable Narrator

Prompts
  • Lexa doesn't reveal herself as Commander when she does. She and Clarke meet under different circumstances--Clarke doesn't know Lexa's the Commander and Lexa doesn't know Clarke is the "Leader" of the Sky People [Possible tropes for this prompt: Identity Porn - Identity Reveal, Unreliable Narrator, Friends to Enemies to Lovers - Pining obliviously the Whole Time, Exploring a World, Crosscultural Relationship]
  • Season 1 ending AU: The Ark doesn't come down and the Mountain Men don't capture the 100. Tell me the story of how Clarke and Lexa fall in love. [Possible tropes for this prompt: For Want of a Nail, Politics - Political Antagonists with Personal Relationship, Captivity - Prisoner of War, Belligerent Sexual Tension]
  • The 'Sky People' are a grounder clan at odds with/reluctantly a member of the Coalition led by Lexa. Or they're a sect within the Ice Nation. Maybe Clarke is even Queen Nia's niece? [Possible tropes for this prompt: Arranged Marriage - to stop war, Arranged Marriage - mutual pining between spouses, Courting Rituals, Politics - Political Machinations, Betrayal - Betraying Someone to Save Them]
  • Clarke isn't captured at the beginning of S3. They meet again in a different way. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Reunion - Characters meet years after betrayal, Exploring a World, Friends to Enemies to Lovers - Pining Obliviously the Whole Time, Living Legend]

The 100 - Clarke Griffin/Roan
Tropes requested: Arranged Marriage, Arranged Marriage - Must Produce an Heir, Friendship - Vitriolic Best Buds, Falling for the Enemy - attempt at manipulation leads to feelings, Casual Sex leads to feelings, Captivity - Captured Together, Politics - Court Intrigue, Love At First Punch, Pining - Mutual Pining, Sharing a Bed - Unplanned, Unplanned Pregnancy, Characters does Heel-Face Turn for Love Despite Thinking it's Unrequited, For Want of a Nail, Courtship - Violence as Courtship, Trapped Together - Tight Spaces, Intrigue disguised as courtship, Identity Porn - Anonymous Sex, Captivity - Prisoner of War, Road Trip - To Undo the Apocalypse, Living Legend, Arranged Marriage - mutual pining between spouses, Arranged Marriage - to solidify alliance, Belligerent Sexual Tension, Enemy Lovers, Kidfic - Unexpected Baby Acquisition

Prompts
  • Azgeda and Arkadia actually go through with sharing the bunker. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Friendship - Vitriolic Best Buds, Casual sex leads to feelings, Pining - Mutual Pining, Sharing a Bed - Unplanned, Trapped Together - Tight Spaces, Belligerent Sexual Tension, Unplanned Pregnancy, Kidfic - Unexpected Baby Acquisition]
  • AU after Season 3: the world isn’t ending, the Coalition is just in the midst of a civil war. Clarke and Roan form an alliance (either in good faith or one.both planning to go back on their word) between Arkadia and Azgeda. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Arranged marriage (-mutual pining between spouses, -to solidify alliance, -Must Produce and Heir), Falling for the Enemy - attempt at manipulation leads to feelings, Intrigue disguised as courtship, Politics - Court Intrigue, Character Does Heel-Face Turn for Love Despite Thinking it's Unrequited]
  • Queen Nia demands Wanheda marry her son. Maybe she succeeded in taking over Coalition, or Arkadia and Azgeda allied against the Coalition, or as the price for "allowing" Arkadia to exist. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Arranged marriage (-mutual pining between spouses, -to solidify alliance, -Must Produce and Heir), Intrigue disguised as courtship, Politics - Court Intrigue, Captivity - Prisoner of War, Living Legend, Enemy Lovers, Courtship - Violence As Courtship]
  • Roan wasn't sent to bring Clarke to Polis. Neither knows who the other is when they meet. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Identity Porn - Anonymous Sex, Trapped together - Tight spaces, Character Does Heel Face Turn For Love Despite Thinking It's Unrequited, Living Legend, Unplanned Pregnancy, Friendship - Vitriolic Best Buds]

Hannibal - William Graham/Hannibal Lecter
Tropes requested: villains in love, Death and the Maiden, On the Run - Together, Small Town with a Dark Secret, Apparently Human Characters Are Actually Non-Human Beings, Legal Drama - character prosecuted for canonical actions, Horror - Cosmic Horror, Doesn't Quite Fit In - Changeling That Wasn't Switched Back, Gender or Sex Swap - Always the Opposite Gender Alternate Reality (Requested Characters Only), Near Death Experience - Grants Victim Psychic Powers, Life Debt, Fight to Survive - Innocent Bystander Turned Action Survivor, Captivity - Captured Together, Doomed Relationship, Embracing Your Otherness, For Want of a Nail, Faustian Bargain, Communication via Snark, Grand Romantic Gesture - Murder of a Third Party as Romantic Gesture, a fete worse than death, Codependency, Sex in the Blood of their Enemies, Unreliable Narrator

Prompts
  • S1 era case fic in which Will still doesn't know what/who Hannibal [Possible tropes for this prompt: Small Town with a Dark Secret, Captivity - Captured Together, a fete worse than death, Fight to Survive - Innocent Bystander Turned Action Survivor, Communication via Snark, Grand Romantic Gesture - Murder of a Third Party as Romantic Gesture, Death and the Maiden]
  • Will figures Hannibal out a lot sooner. Except there's more to Hannibal than there first seems to be (and maybe more to Will, also). [Possible tropes: Apparently Human Characters Are Actually Non-Human Beings, Horror - Cosmic Horror, Legal Drama - character prosecuted for canonical actions, Faustian Bargain, Doesn't Quite Fit In - Changeling that Wasn't Switched Back, Codependency, Unreliable Narrator, villains in love, Near Death Experience - Grants Victim Psychic Powers]
  • The Trial of the Century. I felt a little cheated that we didn't get the Drama of Hannibal's trial onscreen: the audience fainting, the media frenzy, the instant cultural phenomenon of the story of Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Legal Drama - character prosecuted for canonical actions, Doomed Relationship, Unreliable Narrator, a fete worse than death]
  • Will knows about Hannibal the whole time. He's just winding him up and watching him go. [Possible tropes: villains in love, Unreliable Narrator, Sex in the Blood of Their Enemies, Embracing Your Otherness, Communication via Snark, Grand Romantic Gesture - Murder of a Third Party as a Romantic Gesture]
  • *Gender or Sex Swap - Always the Opposite Gender Alternate Reality (Requested Characters Only) - Will Graham. Combined with any other prompt/trope.

Crossover Fandom - Natasha Romanov (MCU)/Rhaegar Targaryen (ASOIAF)

Tropes requested: Stranded In Another Canon’s World (Earth Characters), Politics - Court Intrigue, Pining - One-Sided, Physical Fight Leading to Sex - Sparring, Magic Rituals - Blood Magic Rituals, Intrigue disguised as courtship, Not knowing how to be loved, Morality Exploration - Moral Ambiguity, Magic has a Cost, Magical Pregnancy, Starting a new life, Telepathy - Sharing Dreams, Unequal Relationships - Sleeping with the Boss, Wooing, Loyalty - King and Lionheart, Long Lost/Secret Relatives - "Unrelated" Characters, In Love with the Mark - Assassin/Target, Interclass Relationship, Infidelity - Cheating to Be Together, Fish Out of Water - Character from Our World Marvels at Other World’s Stuff, Exploring a World, Femme Fatale, Fighting Through An Injury, Pining - relationship seems impossible due to power differential, Power In The Blood

Prompts
This is my weird crossover request! I'd like to see Natasha in Westoros or Essos for whatever reason. Magic ritual sends/summons her to the place she truly belongs? The Tesseract malfunctions? She disappeared during Infinity War and that's where she ended up? Or you can go the route where she was always from the world of ASOIAF. Also, FWIW I enjoy the fanon interpretation of MCU that she's enhanced/a lot older than she looks a la some of the comics.
  • Natasha is a Faceless (Wo)man. Because she has only the one (1) skill set. Rhaegar Targaryen hires a Faceless Man? Decides to have one on retainer and the order chooses Natasha to go live in the Red Keep? Or maybe Rhaegar is the target and she goes in for a long con. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Exploration - Moral Ambiguity, Physical Fight Leading to Sex, Unequal Relationships - Sleeping with the Boss, Fighting Through An Injury, Exploring a World]
  • Natasha somehow manages to insinuate herself into the Westerosi nobility despite no one actually knowing who she is. Maybe she manages to convince everyone she's a distant relative of some House -- or even convince Steffon Baratheon that she's a Blackfyre so he takes her back to Westeros to marry Prince Rhaegar. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Long Lost/Secret Relatives - "Unrelated" Characters, Fish Out of Water - Character From Our World Marvels At Another World's Stuff, Magical Pregnancy, Power in the Blood, Not knowing how to be loved]
  • King Rhaegar doesn't know what to make of his strange foreign mistress, but he's here for it. Maybe they first meet because she takes work at the Red Keep, or The Spider takes her as an 'apprentice', or she's conned a minor nobleman or knight into marrying her, and a relationship develops. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Politics - Court Intrigue, Femme Fatale, Wooing, Interclass Relationship, Infidelity - Cheating to Be Together, Not knowing how to be loved, Magical Pregnancy, Unequal Relationships - Sleeping With the Boss]
  • Natasha is a Wildling, either born or since ending up in Westeros. When the White Walkers start to rise she crosses the Wall to warn the kneelers. [Possible tropes: Magic Has A Cost, Fish Out of Water - Character from Our World Marvels at Other World’s Stuff, Physical Fight Leading to Sex - Sparring, Wooing, Loyalty - King and Lionheart]

Game of Thrones - Jon Snow/Sansa Stark
Tropes requested: Arranged Marriage - to solidify alliance, Arranged Marriage - Must Produce an Heir, For Want of a Nail, Heists & Schemes - Ancient Conspiracy, Starting a new life, Royal Inbreeding, Family Feels - Us Against The World, Last Stand, Loyalty - King and Lionheart, Magic Powers - Songs of Power, Time Travel Fix-It, Magic Rituals - Blood Magic Rituals, revenge quest, Pining - Mutual Pining, Role Reversal, Codependency, Trapped together - snowed in, Politics - Court Intrigue, Beneath The Mask - Smiling to Hide The Pain, Happily Ever After, First Time, Wedding Night, Werewolves Turn Into Actual Wolves

Prompts
  • Straight up speculative future fic. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Pining - Mutual pining, Arranged Marriage (-to solidify alliance, -Must Produce an Heir), Starting a new life, Beneath the Mask - Smiling to Hide the Pain, Wedding, First Time, Family Feels - Us Against the World, Loyalty - King and Lionheart with Sansa as King and Jon as Lionheart]
  • Time travel that goes to a different point in time than pre-King Robert comes to Winterfell. I adore the stories where Sansa or Jon wakes up in their younger body, but something different here -- maybe they both travel to just before Harrenhal, or the Targaryen conquest, or even further back to when the Wall was being built. [Possible tropes: Heists & Schemes - Ancient Conspiracy, For Want of a Nail, revenge quest, Codependency]
  • Pre canon AU - Sansa follows the Old Gods, not the Seven. Winterfell has secrets, new and ancient. It is a place of great power and horror, and it is more her home than any Southron keep. Sansa learns a lot sooner than she did in canon. [Possible tropes: For Want of a Nail, Heists & Schemes - Ancient Conspiracy, Magic Rituals - Blood Magic Rituals, Time Travel Fix It, Family Feels - Us Against the World, Werewolves Turn Into Actual Wolves]
  • Jon Stark has always adored his bastard older sister, Sansa Snow. [Possible tropes: Role Reversal, Codependency, Magic Powers - Songs of Power, Beneath the Mask - Smiling to Hide the Pain, Happily Ever After, First Time]
  •  Rhaegar Wins AU where Sansa and Jon are arranged to marry when they are young. But the Long Night is still coming. [Possible tropes: Arranged Marriage, For Want of a Nail, Trapped together - snowed in, Politics - Court Intrigue, Wedding, First Time, Last Stand, Royal Inbreeding]

Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling) - Sirius Black/Hermione Granger
Tropes requested: Time Travel Fix-It, Road Trip - To Undo the Apocalypse, Ritual Sex, Identity Porn - Secret Identity, Time Travel - Stranded in the Past, Unhealthy Coping Mechanisms, Nerds Bonding Over Learning Magic, Magical Tattoos, Impossible Task, Dark is not Evil, Dimension Travel - Trapped in Another Dimension, For Want of a Nail, Good Is Not Soft, Unreliable Narrator, Jealousy/Possessiveness in Romantic/Sexual Relationships, Big Damn Hero, Certain Death Averted - Character survives injuries, Family Feels - Us Against The World, Last Stand, Morality Exploration - He Who Fights Monsters, Age-gap Relationship, Crosscultural Relationship, Friendship - Vitriolic Best Buds, Heists and Schemes - Complicated Heist Planning

Prompts
  • Time Travel Fix It played straight where Hermione either accidentally or purposefully unravels time and starts over because there is No Hope. She's determined, ruthless, a little vicious, and a lot traumatized and Sirius Black is obsessed. [Possible tropes: Time Travel Fix-It, Time Travel - Stranded in the past, Identity Porn - Secret Identity, Impossible Task, For Want of a Nail, Good Is Not Soft, Morality Exploration - He Who Fights Monsters, Jealousy/Possessiveness in Romantic/Sexual Relationships]
  • Sirius Black survived at the end of OOtP. He joins Harry, Ron, and Hermione on the Extended Camping Trip. [Possible tropes: Age-gap Relationship, Crosscultural Relationship, Friendship - Vitriolic Best Buds, Heists and Schemes - Complicated Heist Planning, Good Is Not Soft, Magical Tattoos, Road Trip - To Undo the Apocalypse, Last Stand, Death Averted - Character survives injuries]
  • After the Battle of Hogwarts Hermione gets trapped in an alternate dimension where Voldemort never rose to power. And she never existed. Everyone is alive but no one knows her, and they aren't who she remembers. She's going a little mad. During her downward spiral she meets Sirius Black: handsome, older, a little wild but not broken as he was in her dimensions. [Possible tropes for this prompt: Dimension Travel - Trapped in Another Dimension, Good Is Not Soft, Unreliable Narrator, Friendship - Vitriolic Best Buds, Age-gap Relationship, Unhealthy Coping Mechanisms]
  • Hermione Granger, born 1959, graduates from Hogwarts class of '78 and is nearly immediately recruited by the Order of the Phoenix. Hermione and Sirius were never close at school but there's something between them they can't ignore. [Possible tropes: For Want of a Nail, Big Damn Hero, Nerds Bonding Over Learning Magic, Ritual Sex, Magical Tattoos, Crosscultural Relationship, Last Stand]
